I'm Back, mwah ha ha. lol.

Half our ship sunk today when I was unable to acces the computer in the studio. Without it we were unable to be graced with the prescence of Viking Christopher or Vagabond Wagner. Additionally, we were unable to find up to the minute current topics to talk about. We had to suffice with 1 to 3 day old topics. On the bright side, Drunkard Ryan was able to join us for the first time this semester because he was in studio with me! We still didn't hit the top of the "Talk Stream Live" list, but we'll get there. A lot of music in today's show because of the technical difficulties, and it was all music picked by Drunkard Ryan with the exceptions of the first and last, which are Pirate Joe staples. Lastly, we intorduced a new Pirate Joe concept, "The PJRS Coffee Break" which is what I will call it from now on when I play a song, do a PSA, play a second song, do another PSA, and then play a third song.

Today marked the birthday of Beyonce Knowles! I played about four songs and mixed them together by her. I talked about the rain outside, no drugs on campus and just tried to be me and have fun. I couldn't remember all the songs I've played because the net was down.

Save the Golden Girls! Lifetime, return it to its afternoon spot!! GG Fans unite. Tonight I played a song from the musical "RENT" because it is sadly closing on broadway this Sunday (9/7). "RENT" has strongly impacted my life in so many ways and I feel like I owe its creator, Jonathan Larson, so much. This musical has inspired me to work with HIV/AIDS patients after I obtain my masters in nursing, and also to live life to the fullest and love everyone around me. I hope that all you are able to experience some aspect of this wonderful muscial sometime in your life. If you already have, I'm sure that you are as inspired and moved as I am. This musical will be sorely missed in New York, but I know it will continue to play in our hearts. Thank you, Jonathan Larson.

Another dime, another dollar - insert insane rant here that normally would go on and on not amounting to anything really. Seriously though the rain will come and be followed by sunshine eventually leading into months of snow, ice and sludge. Where is the future with it's bright chrome filled tubes, hiding in the rift between space and time. Speak to me, open the book and peek.

Today is a very special day on the Pirate Joe Radio Show. We had a guest on the show who was in Japan while the show was going on... and we had him live! That guest was Vagabond Wagner. Viking Christopher was also present and yours truly was running the whole thing from inside the studio. By the way, we're pretty sure the international thing is a first for The U.
