This show is dedicated to my aunt, who passed last week. The first song I played tonight, "Bye, Bye Baby" by the Bay City Rollers, reminds me so much of her. One of her favorite movies was "Love Actually" and they use the song, so I thought it was only fitting. Horribly cheesy, I know but it's all for her. LYJa.

Hey and Hello, Tritons! Be sure to check out Apple's new "Genius" software and register to vote if you have already not. The school with the most students who register wins a Death Cab for Cutie concert. So register in person or online at studentvote.org or rockthevote.org!

Yikes! The volume on that microphone was extremely loud. Thanks for listening to my 4th show. FYI the last day to register to vote (if you want to vote in this election) is October 8th, so get on it. I went to studentsvote.org and registered there. Super easy process. Everyone have a good week and be sure to eat your Kashi.

Save the Golden Girls! Lifetime, return it to its afternoon spot!! GG Fans unite. Tonight I played a song from the musical "RENT" because it is sadly closing on broadway this Sunday (9/7). "RENT" has strongly impacted my life in so many ways and I feel like I owe its creator, Jonathan Larson, so much. This musical has inspired me to work with HIV/AIDS patients after I obtain my masters in nursing, and also to live life to the fullest and love everyone around me. I hope that all you are able to experience some aspect of this wonderful muscial sometime in your life. If you already have, I'm sure that you are as inspired and moved as I am. This musical will be sorely missed in New York, but I know it will continue to play in our hearts. Thank you, Jonathan Larson.

Hey, listeners! Hooray for my first show! So I totally missed the shuttle to the North Campus and I had to take the MetroLink to make to the station on time. It was pretty scary, but luckily I made it on time. Well, I hope you all enjoyed my show. If you did (or didn't) like my show, I'll be back on the air next Wednesday (27th) at 5pm Central Time!
